Japanese Black Lacquer and MOP Letter Box with Western Influenced Design
Japanese lacquer document box with small and large pieces of MOP inlay. Some of the larger pieces have carvings of figures. Central clover shaped ground has a peiony rendered in MOP inlay. Inside the lid has a carved and painted design of a peony.
