Small Kiyaki-Wood Tansu Chest
A tansu chest is a traditional Japanese portable wooden chest or cabinet used for storage. This Tansu has hand forged iron hardware, which includes corner reinforcements and ornate lock plates. It has a top drawer and a kendon-buta, or "drop-fit door" on the front that when removed reveals four interior drawers as well as another kendon-buta which hides a hidden safe.
