Set of Ten Japanese Screen Shaped Ceramic Dishes
Meiji period (1868 - 1912) set of 10 Japanese dishes in a brilliant cobalt blue ground (ruri glaze) with turquoise waves (kochi ware glaze). Dishes are faceted into 6 sections, representing a six panel Japanese screen. Comes in original signed kiri wood storage box. Signature reads: Heian Bizan. A Kyoto based artist.
