Pair of Japanese Six Panel Screens: Frolicking Horses From Chokaro Sennin’s Gourd with Children

1st Screen (Top): Kano School painting of Chokaro Sennin, a Chinese Taoist Sage, appears on the right surrounded by karako (Chinese children). Chokaro Sennin has his magic gourd from which he pours horses to the delight and celebration of the children. This screen is an illustration of a fable explaining about impossibility.
