Japanese Two Panel Screen: Young Pines in the Snow
Early in spring’s snow melt, young pines are revealed. Signature and Seal of Kido So (1899-1984) who, born in Kyoto, studied under Yamanoto Shunkyo (1871 – 1933), at the Kyoto Municipal School of Painting. He regularly exhibited at Teiten Imperial Art exhibitions and Bunten Art Exhibitions during the Showa Period (1926 – 1945). Mineral pigments on paper with black lacquer trim.
