Pair of Japanese Six Panel Screens: Unusual and Rare Audubon Painting of Waterfowl

This Edo period (c. 1700) pair is of several species of birds on a shoreline and in the water, some quite unusual, like the Seagull for example. Beautifully painted realistic representation of each bird with accurate coloring and details. Mineral pigments on mulberry paper with clouds of heavy gold (perhaps representing morning mist). In exceptionally good condition. Artist seal reads Norimichi (Dotoku). Measurements listed are for each screen.
