Japanese Ikebana (Flower Arranging Basket) by Teijo Sai
Meiji Period (1868 - 1912) ikebana made of smoked bamboo, polished with ash. Very nice weaving. Handle made of young twisted and bound bamboo. Comes with bamboo insert. Signature on the bottom reads: Teijo sai.
