Chinese Han Dynasty Terracotta Fighting Dog
During the Han Dynasty (206 BC to 220 AD), terracotta dogs were placed at a grave site in order to protect their master. The dog is standing at attention, gazing forward with ears erect, and poised on all fours. The tail curls over the back, and there is evidence of a harness and a loop for a leash. This figure comes with an Oxford Authentication thermoluminescence testing certificate of authenticity.
