The two large characters translate to "Accept This". Signed and sealed by Seigan Soi (1588 - 1661), the text says that he was the 170th head of the Daitokuji temple in Kyoto. Included is a later poem which roughly translates to, "Do not get affected by the mundane world. Practice Buddhism and there is calm water."
