Pair of Black Lacquer Hibachi with Copper Liners
Stylized pine branch design with pine cones. Hibachi were traditionally used in Japanese homes as braziers or heating elements. The hibachi would be lined with ash, and then hot coals put inside to heat the room, or hands or robes. As these hibachi are lacquer, they are more decorative, or could be used as planters or for storage.
