Japanese Two Panel Screen: Flowers and Grasses on Gold
18th century Rimpa School painting, beautifully executed and very fine quality. Formerly a pair of cabinet sliding doors from a very important household, and comes in its own storage box. Calligraphy on the box says that it was mounted into a screen in January, 1943 by Yoshitoki.
