Boxwood Sweets Dish
Decorated with ancient plum tree design on edging and sides. Inscription on botton reads: Made by Kaizon of Monshuen. Late in the 10th month of 1888. Box - outside cover reads: Shujin Kaizon, sweets dish covered with plum forrest by Kaizon of the Goen. inside cover reads: 1 of 6 made for the Tokyo exposition in Meiji 23 (1890). original storage box
