Okimono figure of a pheasant by Neya Choroku. Seal on the bottom reads: Neya Choroku Notes about the artist: Choroku (1897-1987). Choroku, a student of famous Tsuda Shinobu , lived and worked in Osaka. He was famous for making high quality okimono and featured in numerous prestigious shows, including 1933 World Exhibition in Chicago and 15th National Teiten exhibition in 1934, where he received Tokusei , Grand Prize
